EverBuddy Pilot & Collaboration
Start small and find the right approach together
Whether you want to trial AI care calls, a smart companion device or a custom AI application, you can begin with a clear, testable pilot with EverBuddy.
We do not want organisations to change their entire way of working just to use EverBuddy. Each pilot starts with your existing service workflow and is shaped around the people, indicators, follow-up processes and team responsibilities that matter to you.
The goal is for EverBuddy to fit your existing workflow, not become another system your team has to manage.
01|CareCall Pilot
Start with everyday care
Elderly centres, social-service organisations, residential care homes and care teams can start here if they want a low-barrier way to trial AI care calls and strengthen everyday contact and follow-up.
The pilot can be tailored to your existing service arrangements, including:
- Call timing, frequency and service users
- Daily care, reminders and follow-up content
- Health, emotional or everyday matters your organisation focuses on
- Alert conditions and notification recipients
- Weekly summary and care-record formats
- Role-based permissions and follow-up responsibilities
- Dashboard content
- Alignment with existing SOPs, case management and reporting
If your team already has an established way of working, CareCall can be configured around it as far as possible, rather than requiring everyone to learn a new approach from scratch.
02|EverBuddy Companion Pilot
Bring companionship into everyday life
Older-adult service organisations that want to explore more frequent companionship, cognitive interaction and everyday support can begin with a small number of devices.
We can design Companion’s interactions around different service users, environments and care goals. The pilot can be tailored around:
- Which older adults are best suited to participate
- The main types of daily interaction
- Reminiscence, language and cognitive activities
- Routine reminders and encouragement to be active
- Information family members or care staff need to receive
- How frontline staff review, follow up and document information
- How Companion fits existing activities and care workflows
Different centres, care homes and service teams work differently. Their Companion Pilots do not need to be identical.
03|Custom AI Pilot
Bring us a service need, and we can design a solution together
For universities, research teams, government bodies, NGOs and service organisations.
A local care home may want earlier insight into residents’ wellbeing. A service supporting older adults living alone may want more frequent contact. A community team may want to provide more continuous support after a fire, relocation or another major event. Or you may have a new research or service concept. Each can begin with a proof of concept or pilot with EverBuddy.
If you already have a research question, intervention protocol, dataset or service workflow you want to improve with AI, we can design the technical solution around your existing framework.
Our technical team spans AI, engineering, psychology and research. Collaboration can start with the problem you need to solve, including:
- Conversational AI
- Speech and language analysis
- Multimodal and physiological data integration
- Personalised conversational interventions
- Dashboards and analytical tools
- Research data collection
- Model and technical validation
- Project-specific KPIs, research measures or service-outcome tracking
- Integration with existing systems, workflows and team processes
We do not require every partner to use the same standard solution.
Research questions, service settings, data, intervention approaches and success criteria can all be defined together.
Rather than applying a ready-made solution to your organisation, we start with the problem you want to solve. We then determine where AI should be used, what information to collect, how an intervention should work and how the solution can fit your existing service.
How does a pilot usually begin?
01|Understand how you work today
We first learn about your service users, workflows, team roles, SOPs, reporting arrangements and the problem you most want to address.
02|Design the pilot together
Together, we agree on participant numbers, timing, functionality, use arrangements, notification rules and the indicators that matter most.
03|Configure around your workflow
We tailor CareCall, Companion, dashboards, reports, permissions, alerts or other technical components to your organisation’s needs, fitting your existing way of working as closely as possible.
04|Begin the trial
Start on a small scale with service users, frontline teams or research participants in real settings, then adjust based on their feedback.
05|Review the results and decide what comes next
After the pilot, we review usage, service data and frontline feedback together, then decide whether to expand to more people, add functions or move to the next stage of collaboration.
The end of a pilot does not have to be the end of the partnership
If the pilot demonstrates that the solution fits your service setting, we can continue to support the next stage of deployment.
Depending on your organisation’s needs, we can explore suitable government, foundation, social-innovation or other funding channels together, and help prepare product proposals, technical information, pilot results and deployment plans to support applications for further resources.
We can also support subsequent deployment, including expanding to more service users, adjusting workflows, integrating systems, training teams and gradually turning the pilot into a sustainable service.
From trial and validation to securing resources and implementation, we want to help you take the next step.
What matters to you shapes our pilot
Every organisation has different service users, teams, workflows and goals.
Some focus on older adults’ emotional wellbeing. Others want better appointment and medication follow-up, more support for people living alone, or continuity of support after major events. Research teams may need particular datasets, intervention workflows or study measures.
We start with the problem that matters to you, then tailor the product, data, reminders, reports and workflow so the pilot fits your existing service as closely as possible.
